But, wanting to try something else, I bought a Waykar 80 pints, and it broke down after just one week. It’s been a month with this product, and there are no problems. I wasted time. Works well, is very efficient and pulls a lot of moisture out of the air quickly. Design is smart and it's much easier to remove and empty the water tank (without spilling) than with other dehumidifiers, thanks to the cover on the tank.

Going to see how this holds up to continual daily use but am likely to order another one.

It is very compact and very quiet. It has kept the humidity in the comfort range. I wish had a bigger tank as empty it 2 or 3 times a day. I would recommend based on size, portability and how quiet it is when running.

They need another standard to rate these dehumidifiers . This is a good dehumidifier just not up to 3,500 square feet.. 800 Maybe? All of these dehumidifier square footage ratings are under strict laboratory conditions not summer southern states conditions. Go by the amounts of pints it removes a day and then oversize for what you're doing. That's the only way I have found that works after-buying three of these in 3 weeks. With 8 ft ceilings at 1450 square ft. it continuously ran and only got down to 53% humidity which is decent but not to continuously run.. I want it 45%. Bought a 150 pint removal per day unit and doing beautiful.

This works fine and has really improved the air quality in my downstairs/basement living room. However the hose that comes with it doesn’t work to reach the drain in my utility room. The company did respond and basically told to buy a standard garden hose to reach the drain. That’s an extra $40 and a trip hazard. My suggestion is make it well known the hose is short

this thing runs 24/7 at our shore house in Ocean City, NJ -- we use the drain hose otherwise we would be emptying the bin 2-3 times a day

Works great. Very quiet & easy to use. 50 pints fills up very quickly. We should have gotten a larger capacity.

It is quiet

I like this unit. It's quiet, does the job but I wish it had a larger reservoir. I have to empty it 4 times a day to keep it running. Fortunately, or had an auto shut off so if I miss the cycle it'll shut off on its own which happens every morning.

Been using this for about 3 months. Got it to replace a 10 yr old 50 pint by Frigidaire that finally stopped efficiently operating. This works ok, but it seems the tank capacity is less than my old Frigidaire despite saying 50 pints. I have to empty 2 to 3 times daily. I prefer not to setup with drain hose. For first two months humidity would get between 40 and 50%. Lately it seems to only hold around 50 to 55%. In a midwest location and operate it in a basement of around 900 sq ft. I hope this lasts for as long as the Frigidaire, but something tells me maybe 3 years at best. If I could do over I'd get an 80 pint and return to Frigidaire.

Works awesome for my damp basement. Water drains well from the pump. Very quiet ! I am so glad I purchased this item.

Hedjusting thee should know that this little gem is working wonderfully! It has been working now for over 2 weeks and keeps on adjusting the humidity to keep it in the >50% range. There is no concern on my part as to why this machine works quietly but faithfully; It just does! The noise level is so low that I don't think of it at all. It remains in the basement doing its best! Five stars for this little machine! The drain hose works very well, indeed.

I should have researched and probably gotten a bigger one! We can’t use hose no drain and dump it twice a day! Otherwise it is excellent

Its so efficient at removing moisture that it requires emptying often so at 75+ age makes it a nuisance

Great unit! Easy to set up. Controls are easy to use. I used the drain hose hookup which is a simple connection. Unit is small, nice looking, very quiet, and has more output than my old Frigidaire 50pt/day dehumidifier which was part of the Midea recall. Yes, I would recommend to a good friend.

AEOCKY is A-okay. When first set up the water collection drawer needed emptied every couple of hours. Now we continue to empty it twice a day. The basement damp odor is less prevalent & that will improve more when I am able to Clorox mop the floor. After 5 inches of rain in an hour the cement floor got a considerable amount of water while we were away. Still working on clean up but noticed a difference after 24 hours of using the humidifier. There is an option to connect a hose to the humidifier to avoid having to empty it but the drain is in front of the washer dryer so it would be in the way. The unit is quiet & fits nicely in a small area.

Great de-humidifier. Cooled my home in 100+ humid temperatures. The price was great. Highly recommend for home of 1500 sq. feet

Very happy with this dehumidifier after about 3 weeks of use. I have a very large basement area and it keeps the area under 60% during the high humidity summer days.

Works as advertised! Our house feels more comfortable using this and it is super quiet! I have actually purchased another one for our bedroom, same brand just a size smaller! Highly recommend this product for anyone living in a humid climate!
