Bought this dehumidifier for a full size bathroom. This unit runs in automatic mode all 24x7. Removes excess moisture keeping the mildew and mold away. Very quiet. Drain it directly down the tub.
I picked up this compact dehumidifier to deal with moisture in a tight spot, and it’s been a totally different experience compared to other mini dehumidifiers I’ve owned in the past. It uses a slightly updated thermoelectric tech, and I noticed a difference pretty quickly—after running it in my small bathroom for less than an hour, it had already collected a decent amount of water. Its narrow, vertical design makes it easy to tuck right into a corner where space is at a premium, which was a huge selling point for me.
Setting it up and using it is pretty straightforward. It comes with all the standard modes, but the auto mode is what I use most. You can dial in your target humidity level, and the unit adjusts itself based on the room's conditions. It has a 64-ounce water tank, but it also comes with a hose if you want to run continuous drainage, which is handy if you plan on putting it somewhere out of the way like a small basement room.
That said, there are a couple of small trade-offs to keep in mind. While the drain hose is a nice touch, this is still a compact, thermoelectric unit at heart—it isn't meant to tackle massive, open-concept basements or severe moisture issues. Also, since the continuous drainage relies entirely on gravity rather than a pump, you’ll need to set the unit up on a shelf or counter higher than your drain for the water to actually flow out through the hose.
Around the $80 to $100 price point, I think this unit really justifies its cost. It works significantly better than traditional compact dehumidifiers I've tried, making it a great option if you need quiet, reliable moisture control for a small room.
It is small and does not do more than 2-4 cups a day. It is fairly quiet. It works in my bathroom to ensure my towels and such are dry each day for use. No more mildew smell during really humid summer months. It is small enough to fit on a shelf.
This dehumidifier has 64 oz tank. It can yield a maximum of 41oz daily capacity at 95℉/95%RH. Its 85W low-power draws only 2 kWh for 24/7 runtime. It utilizes hydraulic bearing fans with a 40,000+ hour lifespan. In real test at 3ft it shows only 35-40dB of noise level.
Upon opening the package I found this dehumidifier quite compact. The tank looks small but it is still able to hold a day’s water capacity. I like that it includes a hose which I can drain it continuously. This is convenient so that I don’t need to empty the tank everyday. My intention is to put it in my bathroom as sometimes the humidity is high there after I bath. I find this device is good for small enclosed space. I don’t suggest using it in open area like the basement as it won’t be powerful enough. For basement you need a much bigger and more powerful unit. I like the operation is quiet as it is only 35-40 dB about 3ft away. And it is nice that it has a sleep mode which can even turn down the noise further. I also like that it has a timer which I can control the period of time it runs.
It is good that the seller gives 1 year of warranty. This is important for any electric devices that I purchase. I haven’t tested this device long enough. So I am going to give it a rating of 4 stars now. I may upgrade it when I have a chance to test it further. Overall the first impression of this device is good quality.
We are using this in our RV. It is quiet and effective. We set it up to drain into our kitchen sink. Great value for the money! Would definitely recommend!
