Very easy to use and it works
Works great, replaced an older model of the same and I love the updated timer options. We now own two of these newer ones. The company was easy to work with on the warranty of the older model too. Wouldn’t hesitate to buy from them again.
So far, it is collecting water and is very quiet. Even though it is small and light weight it seems to work very well.
Works great. I would buy it again if needed
We tried five different brands with units rated for approximately 1,000 square feet like this one. And this does get approximately 10x more than any of the other brands. It is more expensive, but not 10x more expensive. The others never changed the humidity level in even small bathrooms, this one is capable of effectively removing humidity.
I used this in a cool basement room where a standard compressor dehumidifier struggled during the winter. The desiccant system continued removing moisture without freezing up, and the humidistat kept the room close to the selected level. The included drain hose allowed it to run continuously without frequent tank emptying. Noise remained reasonable at the lower fan settings.
It’s a practical option for cooler basements, RVs, bathrooms, or laundry areas. Its daily capacity is better suited to small and medium spaces than large wet basements.
Pros
Desiccant design performs well in cooler temperatures.
Continuous drainage reduces regular maintenance.
Built-in humidistat helps maintain consistent humidity.
Cons
Lower capacity than large compressor models.
Can produce noticeable warmth while operating.
Higher fan settings are easier to hear.
Does great in my 3D printing room.
Down to 30%. Thats better than most dehumidifiers.
This may not be the cheapest, but it works much better than other dehumidifiers I've owned. It does make make noise on max setting, but quiet in sleep mode. It does put off heat while running, so don't place next to a wall or anything soft that may warp. The big deal though...it pulls 80oz of water out of the room every day.
Great unit - great brand. Another lower cost similar type unit broke and I returned it. AEOCKY was more expensive but obviously should have spent a little more and stuck with it. You get what you pay for.
I have a 768sq ft basement this little unit does a great job . It's quiet and removes about a gallon of water from the air daily. Does not cool the air. I will be anxious to see how well it does in winter when it's really cold down there( usually 40°f). Will Have to let you all know. It's compact and easy to move. We use a 2.5 gal bucket with the hose that attaches to the unit and have it in the middle of the basement on a bar stool so the hose runs down to the bucket on the floor. Our basement is neither finished or heated. So far so good!
Every now and then I come across an item that totally surprises me. This dehumidifier is one of them. First of all, it’s extremely compact and fits almost anywhere. Second, it’s extremely portable. It’s so easy to use the attached handle to pick it up and move it room to room. It is extremely effective. I personally watched it drop the humidity of a room five degrees in less than ten minutes. I filmed the video right over top of the machine and there is almost no noise. It really is fairly silent when operating. I like that it can be hooked to a drain or operated free style and empty the bucket by hand. It’s certainly reliable and the dials are on the front where they are accessible and easy to read. I was surprised how much humidity it drew off the bedroom. We usually keep that door closed so I was astounded at the water volume that needed to drain. What is even more surprising is how much cooler that bedroom is without the humidity. Really a great buy at a great price.

In Florida, humidity can be HIGH! This unit has been a game changer!
I’ve tried lil RID and other brands, some help but just don’t hit the marks! And they can be messy with accidental spills! Uh Oh 😰
This units, is adjustable, 5% increments
Turns on and off to settings, not just constantly running! 💦 ⚡️
Some noise but very pleased with this unit compared to all others I’ve had and used! Slight humming, truly some may like this for white noise! Not a bother at all!
The only issue truly is it does create some heat! That’s the only downside, my opinion
I recommend, unit!
Buy it now product
I suggest this seller, not sure how old or new company is but , I recommend these guys! 100%
Thank you for reading my real and honest review
Many blessing
I got this for my gun room, but there are a ton of uses for this. This is a big step up from others (apparently “semiconductor” models) I’ve used. This would be great for tight spaces like bathrooms, closets, or an RV. It uses a heated desiccant core instead of a traditional cooling compressor. It’s relatively quiet (they claim 25dB in sleep mode). It pulls a lot of moisture out of the air for its size and it does it fast. It has a large water storage tank (85-ounces). You can dial in your exact target humidity. It does have a drain hose option, but I can’t use it. I have to manually empty it. It feels very well made,
Here’s the issue to be aware of…
This desiccant technology vents warm air as a byproduct of extracting moisture. In a bedroom during a hot summer, this extra heat will make the room hotter. You have to position it carefully or ventilate the space.
Here’s the good part…
This “limitation” makes it great for winter or chilly spaces. Standard compressor dehumidifiers freeze over and stop working when the temperature drops, but this unit is frost-free down to 34°F. If you need an efficient winter dehumidifier or something for a cooler space, this is perfect.

This next part, I did a little research for. You can skip it. But if you’re wondering why you need one…
Just a few jobs dehumidifiers do:
- Gun rooms/safes. Excess moisture causes rust on firearms and ruins ammunition. This unit is perfect because it works in cold basement gun rooms where standard dehumidifiers might freeze up.
- Laundry/drying rooms. Hanging wet clothes indoors spikes the humidity. This machine pulls that moisture out of the air so clothes dry faster without making the room smell musty.
- RVs, boats, cabins. I don’t have an RV or a boat, but I had a cabin for years and this would have been perfect. Unheated vehicles and seasonal properties sitting idle in winter can suffer from really bad condensation. Because this unit works down to 34°F, it keeps these spaces dry all winter long.
- Mold/Mildew prevention. Room smell musty? Mold spores thrive in humidity levels above 60%. Dropping the humidity stops mold from growing (on drywall, carpeting, and clothing).
- Health and allergies: High humidity fosters dust mites, which are a primary trigger for asthma and indoor allergies. Keeping the air dry improves respiratory comfort.
- Protecting guns, I mean materials… Excess moisture warps wooden furniture, rusts metal tools, peels wallpaper, and destroys stored cardboard boxes or paperwork. A humidifier is great for storage rooms.
- Odor control: The "basement smell" is the off-gassing of bacteria and mildew that eats organic matter in damp air. Eliminating the moisture kills the smell.
Works great.
I bought this for dehumidifying an RV (22 foot camper van) while it is in storage. I found that Damp-Rid wasn't making much of a difference in the summer.
This one easily controls the humidity in the RV. It has an easier time since I don't open it often (I only use while it is parked in storage). That said, it pulls water fast enough that I suspect that it would work even if someone was living in it since it pulls water relatively quickly.
Pros:
* Works in lower temperatures than many other dehumidifiers (such as those that are peltier-based)
* Noise level is reasonable
* Price is very reasonable
* Has support for a drain hose
* Water removal is good; it easily keeps the RV at 50% RH
* Size is reasonable
Cons:
* It does add heat to the cabin which may be a negative depending on the weather
Other thoughts:
* I'm hopeful that the reliability is going to be reasonably high since it is desiccant-based
* I couldn't find much regarding the Aeocky brand; I would prefer a company with a developed brand that I could use to help get a sense of the expected reliability. From what I can tell, the information on Aeocky is positive but the company is fairly new.
I run two other larger dehumidifiers - one in the basement, the other in the garage. Each one is meant for larger areas, is more powerful, but cost less. If compactness and aesthetics are not important, you might choose something like that.
This unit is a bit nicer made, with a better tank/hose arrangement, and the included hose is better quality.
I plugged it in, pushed a couple of buttons and it started working. It was already below 60%, so it took about 10 minutes for first splashes of water to appear in the tank. But yes, it's working great. I will use this in conjunction with the basement unit to keep lowering the humidity this summer.
Minor gripe: the display is white on white, not easiest to read, unless it's dark. But my other units also have small buttons/text, so they're all less than idea in different ways. Functionally irrelevant, IMHO.
Works great for my grow room
This desiccant dehumidifier has been working absolutely great for my basement. Basements are notoriously difficult to manage because they tend to stay cooler than the rest of the house, causing traditional compressor-style dehumidifiers to freeze up, lose efficiency, or stop working entirely.
Because this unit uses desiccant rotor technology instead of a standard compressor, it never frosts over. It pulls an impressive amount of moisture out of the air even in cooler temperatures, completely eliminating that damp, musty basement smell.
The feature set is incredibly practical. It has a generous 85oz water tank, but the inclusion of the continuous drain hose is a massive lifesaver—you can just set it up to drain automatically and never have to worry about constantly emptying the bucket. The intelligent humidistat lets you dial in your target humidity level precisely, and it runs surprisingly quiet for a machine that can cover up to 1000 square feet.
If you have a basement, crawlspace, or cool room that needs serious moisture control without the headache of a freezing appliance, this unit is a phenomenal choice. Easily a full 5 stars!
I finally decided to address the humidity issues in my place, and this AEOCKY rotary desiccant dehumidifier has been a total game changer. Since I spend a lot of time working on DIY projects around the house and maintaining my own vehicles, I’ve learned that managing moisture is key to keeping everything in good shape, but I needed something that wouldn't be loud or intrusive. This unit is impressively quiet, which I really appreciate, especially since I’ve been running it in smaller spaces like my closets and near my storage areas.
It’s surprisingly effective for its size, and the 85oz tank means I’m not stuck emptying it constantly, though having the option to use the included drain hose is a huge bonus for longer, hands-off operation.
What I love most is how smart it is and the intelligent humidistat takes all the guesswork out of the process, and it’s a relief to know it’s running exactly as much as it needs to without me having to monitor it. It’s been perfect for keeping the air in my bedroom and workshop feeling crisp and comfortable, and it’s definitely a more reliable solution than the passive stuff I’ve tried before. It feels well-built and sturdy, which is exactly what I look for when I’m adding new equipment to the house.
If you're struggling with dampness in your home or RV and want something that actually works without being a headache to manage, I’d highly recommend picking one of these up.
This dehumidifier couldn’t have been easier to set up—it was ready to use right out of the box. Just plug it in, choose your humidity setting, and let it do the work. The digital display is easy to read, and the controls are simple to operate.
I really like that it includes both a generous 85-ounce water tank and a drain hose for continuous drainage if you prefer. It’s surprisingly quiet, making it a great choice for a bedroom, bathroom, closet, RV, or any smaller living space. The compact design looks modern and doesn’t take up much room.
If you’re looking for an easy-to-use dehumidifier that works well without a complicated setup, this is an excellent option.
This is a very impressive little dehumidifier. It is compact and easy to move around, but it still pulls a surprising amount of moisture from the air. It would be useful in a bathroom, small office, bedroom, RV, closet, laundry area, or any space that tends to feel damp or stuffy.
I like that it is much quieter than many dehumidifiers I have used. On the lower or night setting, it is quiet enough that it would not bother me in a bedroom or office. The regular setting has some sound, but it is more of a steady hum than an irritating noise.
The water tank is a good size for the unit, and I appreciate that it also includes a hose if you want to drain it continuously. That makes it much more convenient if you are using it in a place where you do not want to empty the tank constantly.
The controls are simple, and I like being able to set the target humidity instead of just turning it on and guessing. There was a slight odor at first, but it faded after running for a while.
This is a great choice for smaller spaces where you want real moisture removal without a big, loud, heavy machine. It is quiet, effective, easy to use, and much more capable than I expected for its size.
Works well.
This product is very quite as I have it my master bath in master bedroom in comparison to my Hisense dehumidifiers. I was going to give it 4 Stars because wish it came with wheels. But decide it’s quite feature makes it a 5 star. Also like it as I could easily move it upstairs where it is located most of the other dehumiders are large and very heavy to move upstairs.
This little dehumidifier is surprisingly powerful. We use it in a basement that is around 1,000 square feet, and it does a good job reducing the damp feeling and keeping the space more comfortable. For such a compact unit, it pulls a noticeable amount of moisture from the air and has been more effective than I expected.
One thing to keep in mind is that it blows out some warm air while running. That can raise the temperature enough that we sometimes end up running the air conditioning at the same time, although the air conditioning also helps with the humidity. The tank is also on the smaller side, so we need to empty it every couple of days. When we are away and cannot empty it, the basement can become humid again once the tank fills and the unit stops collecting water.
Overall, this is a solid dehumidifier for a smaller basement, bedroom, RV, or similar space. I would consider it best for areas under about 1,000 square feet unless you plan to use the drain hose for continuous drainage. It works very well for its size, but the heat output and tank capacity keep it from being a full five-star product.
This dehumidifier is excellent. It works so smoothly and efficiently. In the minutes it took to make the video review, it grabbed several tablespoons of water out of the air. Wow! It comes with great instructions and is very easy to use. The controls work well and respond to a gentle tap. The size of the reservoir is large, however, it also comes with a heavy duty hose if you wanted to continually drain the tank. It has 2 modes: Turbo and Sleep. Sleep reduces the speed by 50% and the LED display fades after a few seconds. You can set it on a timer and it will shut off when the tank gets full. I am so impressed with the quality and efficiency of this machine. It is reasonably priced, too. I’m really happy with mine. I hope it works out just as well for you.
