Works great, replaced an older model of the same and I love the updated timer options. We now own two of these newer ones. The company was easy to work with on the warranty of the older model too. Wouldn’t hesitate to buy from them again.
So far, it is collecting water and is very quiet. Even though it is small and light weight it seems to work very well.
Works great. I would buy it again if needed
We tried five different brands with units rated for approximately 1,000 square feet like this one. And this does get approximately 10x more than any of the other brands. It is more expensive, but not 10x more expensive. The others never changed the humidity level in even small bathrooms, this one is capable of effectively removing humidity.
I used this in a cool basement room where a standard compressor dehumidifier struggled during the winter. The desiccant system continued removing moisture without freezing up, and the humidistat kept the room close to the selected level. The included drain hose allowed it to run continuously without frequent tank emptying. Noise remained reasonable at the lower fan settings.
It’s a practical option for cooler basements, RVs, bathrooms, or laundry areas. Its daily capacity is better suited to small and medium spaces than large wet basements.
Pros
Desiccant design performs well in cooler temperatures.
Continuous drainage reduces regular maintenance.
Built-in humidistat helps maintain consistent humidity.
Cons
Lower capacity than large compressor models.
Can produce noticeable warmth while operating.
Higher fan settings are easier to hear.
